August 2021

As we ease our way out of lockdown, we’re delighted to open our smart, new offices for our clients and advisers to meet and continue our journey together. We look forward to seeing you and hope you like it.

March 2020

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic The Chester Partnership had only two priorities, our team members and our clients. All team members were fully equipment to support our clients securely from home allowing us to provide an uninterrupted service throughout.

June 2018

We've moved into a really smart new office at the Oaklands Business Centre. Moving in to one office has enabled us to bring our people together to create one team with the sole objective of delivering high quality advice and service to our customers. You're very welcome to pop in and see us.

July 2017

After just two years, we are invited to become one of the Quilter Strategic Partner firms. With only 50 such firms (out of approx. 3,500) in the UK, this was further recognition of our commitment to financial planning done properly.

June 2017

Congratulations and thanks to Dave Sale and Rob Hughes for the 10 years you've been with the company. Dave and Rob head up our Para-planning and Technical Support service, helping with the research and preparation of reports that form a vital part of the ADVICE process experienced by our clients. Here's to the next ten years men!

August 2015

After 15 great years with Sesame, we left to become part of the Quilter Group. We look forward to maintaining our award winning ways with another of the UK’s leading distributors of financial services.

April 2013

April 2013 sees the launch of our new website and Riskograph! We believe the site offers so much more than the usual (boring?) financial adviser brochure sites and will, in the fullness of time become our next award winner! We hope you like it!!

January 2013

At this year’s Symposium our colleague Alun Davies is recognised by Sesame as the Best Adviser in the UK! A fantastic personal achievement for Alun and reflective of our continued commitment to financial planning that keeps the customer at the centre of everything we do.

The RDR – a 5 year review of the way financial services are distributed in the UK (Retail Distribution Review). Changes include a ban on commission for investment advice & higher qualifications for advisers. For the past 13 years we have pushed for such improvements and believe the RDR helps the industry take a long overdue and for some - quantum leap towards true professional status.

February 2012

Another very swanky dinner at the London Hilton, Park Lane as we are shortlisted for the 2012 Professional Adviser Awards – Best Small Adviser Firm and Industry Charity Champion. We didn’t win but were in the company of other very good, high quality firms.

November 2011

Recognition as the Best Overall Firm in the UK! The Sesame Symposium (a posh word for meeting, or conference . . or in Greek a ‘drinking party’!?!) is the annual blue ribbon event for Sesame. The award, presented by Olympic legend Michael Johnson, recognised our continued commitment to a policy of Treating Customers Fairly with systems & controls that embrace regulation as just good practice (we had a few drinks to celebrate!)

July 2011

The Financial Adviser School (FAS) accepts its first cohort of students. 3 years spent working with SBG in the design & creation of FAS ensures there is now a fully integrated route for bright, talented people to become the next generation of modern professional advisers. The School reflects our passion & commitment to support new people to join the industry and proves that dreams really can come true!

March 2010

Our 10th anniversary and we are recognised as the Top IFA Firm in the North West. • Client payment options based on the ‘added value’ they experience
• Seeking constant & never ending improvement
• The delivery of on-going services appropriate to the needs of our clients

We decide to buy support services from the Sesame, the largest & longest established service provider in the UK.
